This is called Bhong of Sakhakot, Malakand

It is not often that you eat this thing called Bhong. Earlier this February, I went to my hometown Peshawar after 5 years and my first time that I went alone without my family. I made many new friends. One of the best friend I made there is Fayaz Khan. He is a nice educated man who runs his own business of communications related accessories. He also introduced me to his other friends specially Sajjad Ali Khan, a regional PTI leader & promoter & his driver Nawaz.

Together we made a plan to go to Sakhakot (or sometimes written as Skhakot) – سخاکوٹ is a small town located around the main road which leads to Dargai and Malakand. It is part of Malakand Division in Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa province of Pakistan. The area is considered hostile but when we went there everything was normal & nothing looked hostile. We went to Sakhakot Bazar. There is a famous restaurant named ‘Naimat Tikka Farosh‘. This is where we ate Bhong. Bhong is a traditional Sakhakot dish which is cooked from Goat Limb. It really taste awesome.
